Roch Voisine was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, but grew up in Saint Basile. His parents are Réal Voisine, mayor of Notre-Dame-du-Lac, Québec and a former English teacher, and Zélande Robichaud, a former nurse.
Voisine's musical breakthrough came with his 1989 album Hélène which sold three million copies and became a major hit not only in Quebec but also in France, Belgium and Switzerland. In 1990, Hélène was awarded the Best Album prize at the the Victoires de la Musique, France's version of Grammys. After a highly successful European Tour in 1991, he was awarded France's Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
In 1993, Voisine had his biggest English-language hit to date with the single and album both entitled I'll Always Be There, which he worked on with David Foster.
Over the years, he has continued to alternatively record both French and English-language albums. His French language work and concert tours have continued to enjoy success in Europe (especially France) and Quebec, while his English-language recordings are a frequent mainstay of Canadian Adult Contemporary radio.

Tell me what you see
Have you fears unsealing nice?
Leave me here
As you still deny
Has your heart will slowly
Might great back to never
Never said forever
Someone must has of helled you
Couldnt be me?
Did i lead you some where and than?
Find you where you've not been
Did i ?
Do all the things
You could never do
When your heart
Will begin to break
In the back long times
Your mine
You will be
All alone to find
That you never lost me
Only if you find me only
Did i love you never
Never said forever
Someone must has of helled you
Couldnt be me?
Did i lead you some where and than?
Find you where you've not been
Did i ?
Do all the things
You could never do
Did you wake and lived?
Sependid time
No sence i find
Oooopen up your eyes
Ask yourself
All the reasons why
You find me where you left me
Did i love you never
Never said forever
Did i hurt you never
Couldnt be me?
Did i lead you some where and than?
Finaly you stay than
You hurt
What deep as i
You already knew
You already knew
You already knew
The song "Never" by Roch Voisine is a poignant reflection on love and loss. The lyrics are full of questions and self-doubt, as the singer wonders whether they truly loved the person they are addressing, and whether they could have done anything differently to prevent their relationship from falling apart. The song is deeply emotional, with a sense of regret underlying each line.
The song opens with a plea: "Look at me, tell me what you see." This line sets up the theme of uncertainty that runs through the whole song. The singer is desperate to know whether the person they are addressing still feels anything for them, but they fear the worst. "Have your fears unsealing nice?" they ask, hinting at the idea that their love may have been one-sided all along.
As the song progresses, the singer reflects on the past, asking themselves whether they really did everything they could to make the relationship work. "Did I lead you somewhere and then...?" they ask, wondering whether they were the cause of their own unhappiness. They also wonder whether they hurt the other person, saying "Did I hurt you never, couldn't be me?" This line is particularly interesting, as it suggests that the singer is willing to take the blame for the relationship ending, even if they aren't entirely sure whether their actions were the cause.
The chorus of the song is also full of self-doubt. "Did I love you never, never said forever" the singer sings, questioning whether their feelings were ever genuine. They also wonder whether someone else intervened in their relationship, saying "Someone must have held you, couldn't be me?" This line suggests that the singer is aware that anything could have happened to cause the relationship to end, including external factors beyond their control.
Overall, "Never" is a powerful reflection on the complexities of love and relationships. Roch Voisine's lyrics are full of emotion and uncertainty, painting a vivid picture of a relationship that has fallen apart, leaving both partners questioning what went wrong.
