Por ti yo siento un cariño
Desde que éramos niños, yo
Te quiero y también te amo
Y tu me quieres? Te quiero
Aunque muy poco nos vemos
Desde que nos conocemos yo
Es tan hermoso saber
Que te piensa otro ser
Y al fin de este siglo
Tu y yo somos alguien
Que tienen y sienten cariño sincero
Por eso siempre tu y yo
Vivimos así, felices serenos
Tu cuentas conmigo yo cuento contigo
En cualquier instante
Y en cualquier terreno
Me quieres? Te quiero
Porque eres bueno conmigo
Pongo el amor de testigo que
Te quiero y también te amo
Y tu me quieres? Si, te amo
Confirmo a diario lo mismo
Estoy a tu mismo ritmo soy
Tu amigo y también tu hermano
Este cariño nació
El día en que dios cruzo los caminos
Y puso tus ojos, tus manos, tu canto
Y tu verso en mi si no, valió la pena nacer
Por el hecho de ser
Tu y yo mas que amigos
Cosas de la vida
Cosas de la suerte
De esas cosas bellas
Que tiene el destino
The song "El Destino" by Rocio Durcal is a love song that speaks of two people sharing a strong connection and deep affection for each other. The lyrics describe how the two have known each other since childhood, but even though they do not see each other as much as they used to, they still love and miss each other. It is a song about the power of friendship and romantic love and how they can coexist in a strong and meaningful relationship.
The chorus of the song expresses the joy and happiness that the two people feel because they have each other. The repetition of the phrase "me quieres? Te quiero" ("do you love me? I love you") emphasizes the reciprocity and equal balance in their relationship. They support each other through thick and thin, counting on each other's presence and love regardless of the situation they face.
The lines "cosas de la vida, cosas de la suerte, de esas cosas bellas que tiene el destino" ("things in life, things in luck, those beautiful things that destiny has") signify that their love and connection are not just a coincidence but a product of destiny. The song tells a story of a deep connection and affection between two people who have each other's best interests at heart.
