Over a year after their last music video, they're back! Finally!

This was really well animated from start to finish, from movements, to expressions, to set design, etc. It was fun to watch, the cinematography was really fun at times, and the action was nice as well. The original song is also a welcome change from other videos.

Overall, this video more than satisfied someone like myself who loves stuff like this. I'd have to give this a 9/10, the only gripes I have with it is how the ending feels slightly lackluster. Sure, we see Dream beat his enemies, but he doesn't beat the game...which is kinda the point of speedrunning.

Nice work Andy and co, looking forward to the Security Breach video! Let's hope it's better than the actual game haha

I miss you all. This channel was the first Minecraft Animation channel I subscribed to, and seeing them grow with detail and experience is such a visual treat. Aside from the fact that Minecraft animations are in fact, based off Minecraft's style. Many creators have connections with each other and share rigs for practicality and/or to help with time constraints. Alongside that, not everyone can make a good looking rig and model so many rely on publicly released ones made by fellow community members. For software, there isn't really a lot to choose from, most big studios use Blender or Autodesk Maya. Others also use Cinema 4D and Mine-Imator.

Also good to mention that since everyone follows the general style of Minecraft (Pixels, blocky characters), what differentiates a creator's style from another may be quite subtle and may not be immediately obvious to the inexperienced. Some allow facial expressions to be curved and be more smooth, some make theirs deliberately blockly, some like to follow the pixel style of the game and model their faces in pixel art form. Character designs can use more smooth curves and bevels, some with angles, while some like to be pixel consistent. Movement is also quite different between creators, you might've seen the official Minecraft update trailers, some people try to emulate that style, with it's limited bends and more abstract movement, while some stick to the more "traditional" style of character animation based more on realism. Lastly, lighting design, the spectrum goes from hyperealism to cartoony/stylised just like non-mc animation!

I guess that's it, I kinda went on a tangent here but I'm glad you bought this up since I really enjoyed being able to info-dump about this one specific topic I like :)

Small thing I noticed, when the ghast shot its fireball, we can actually see Dream literally kick off (sorry, I can't think of the name) while Bad, and the others come from behind and pull Them back at the same time, Therefore- they both hit or moved each other out the way, although it is probably just Dreams well, defense to get out the way, and he probably didn't mean to "save" any of them, as he is, the one being hunted. And yes I'm aware it's just a game.
