Now two years later, his career definitely seems to be on the rise. His single Can't Sleep is still climbing up the Jamaican charts and already gained him attention outside Jamaica as well. Love Doctor on the Automatic riddim is already getting loads of airplay as well as his single Wanna Go Home. Romain Virgo manages to build his musical career while still doing a five-year bachelor's degree in performance at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, studying for a major in voice and minor in keyboard. This education assures that Romain's performance will be different from others. It already earned him a performance at Tony Rebel's prestigious Rebel Salute 2009 show earlier this month and performances at the well known dancehall parties in Kingston such at Passa Passa in Tivoli gardens and Weddy Weddy at Stone Love's Headquarters in Kingston.
With hard work, Romain is taking it one step at a time and will be out there and let the people know what he has to offer. Romain has been working with Donovan Germain of Penthouse Music and Dawin Brown of Vikings Sounds.

Romain Virgo's song "Should I Call Her" is about the complexities of a past relationship. In the song, the singer is struggling with the aftermath of leaving a woman for someone else. He feels regretful about the decision and is not satisfied with his current situation. He is questioning whether he should call his former love interest and try to win her back or move on. The tone of the song is melancholic, and the lyrics convey a sense of remorse and frustration. The singer is torn between two options but is uncertain about what would be the best course of action.
Throughout the song, the singer is expressing his emotional turmoil after leaving his previous relationship. He feels that his former partner was unfair and unkind to him, but he also acknowledges that he made mistakes. His feelings of regret and confusion are palpable in the lyrics. The chorus line "should I call her, I'm gone knocking down the door" shows that he thinks about his past more often than he would like to admit. However, the lyrics end with an ambiguous note, with the singer not making a clear decision but rather leaving it open to interpretation.
