In "Headstrong," Romeo Retarded looks back to the past and reminisces about better days when he and his partner were once alike. However, time goes by and changes happen, resulting in him being happy that he has moved on. Although Romeo tries to convey that something is not right, he realizes his partner's stubbornness and naivety get in the way of understanding. He needs some time to rearrange his life, but maybe he and his partner will never change. Romeo knows his partner only looks away when it brings them pleasure, not pain. Despite this, he continually takes the blame for their relationship's faults. He realizes that his partner is always trying to mess with his mind and life, but now he stands firm on the ground and states that it is not okay. He told them once to stay away, and he repeats it.
