Ronnie was raised in a musical family. His older brothers, Art and Ted, were active in the skiffle & traditional jazz scenes.
Ronnie has been in The Rolling Stones since 1975. He previously was a songwriter and backing musician with Rod Stewart when both were in 1970s rock group the Faces.
Wood met Stewart when they were employed in the Jeff Beck Group in the late 1960s. Prior to that Wood had been in bands in the London mod scene: The Birds, who dissolved in 1966, and - very briefly - The Creation.
Wood is an accomplished artist (painter), he collaborated on numerous all-star musical projects and recorded several solo studio and live albums. His autobiography, entitled Ronnie, was published in 2007.
As a solo recording artist Ronnie Wood is a particularly tricky case when it comes to Last.fm stats. On the sleeves of two of his studio solo albums from the 1970s his name is Ron Wood. However, since 1980 he has put out all of his albums as Ronnie Wood.

Don't worry ooh, don't worry (no, no, no)
Very thin line, between madness and sanity
I wish to choose my friends, instead of them choosing me
Livin' here ain't easy, you see
It's a fool who thinks he's in good company
Get showered with everything you don't need
Convinced of stayin' out another sleepless night
Just when the time ain't right
A voice like a saxophone will break your dream
Let me tell you sister
So whatever you do, let it breeze right over your head
Don't dare, don't dare, don't dare let it get ya
Don't dare let it get ya, don't dare let it get ya
Don't worry if he beats you too hard (no, no, no)
Don't worry standin' out in the yard (no, no, no)
Don't worry if it's too much, too soon (no, no, no)
Don't worry it'll be over soon (no, no, no)
Too fast and too hard, that's how you hit it
Too soon and too hard, that's how you live
Get yourself some music that's as hard as this life
Get yourself some hip shakin' belly achin'
Head shakin' home breakin' baby makin' love makin' music
Too much, too soon you sure consume it
Too fast and too hard, that's how you hit it
Too much, too soon, that's how you live
Don't worry, no, no, no,
Don't worry, no, no, no, please
Don't worry, no, no, no,
Don't worry, no, no, no,
Don't worry, no, no, no, don't dare let it get ya
Don't worry, no, no, no, don't dare let it get ya
Don't worry, no, no, no, if he hits you too hard
Don't worry, no, no, no, if it's too much, too soon
Don't worry, no, no, no, if it knocks you over
Don't worry, no, no, no, if it's too fast and too hard
Don't worry, no, no, no, if it's back breakin' baby makin'
Don't worry, no, no, no, that's what they say!
Ron Wood's song Don't Worry is a motivational and inspiring song that encourages its listeners not to worry despite the challenges and difficulties they may be experiencing. The song begins by highlighting the thin line between madness and sanity and the need to choose one's friends instead of letting them choose you. Ron acknowledges that living in the current world is not easy, and being in good company is a rarity. He continues to caution his listeners against falling into a trap of showered with everything they don't need, leading to sleepless nights and broken dreams, as this may ruin their lives.
Nonetheless, Ron encourages his listeners to let everything pass over their heads, not allowing themselves to be affected. Even when they are hurting or going through tough times, they should not worry because things will soon be okay. He emphasizes the importance of getting good music as a coping mechanism and suggests music that is as hard as life. Additionally, Ron says that life may come at us too fast, too hard, or too soon, but we should always remember not to worry and that everything will soon be okay.
In conclusion, Ron Wood's "Don't Worry" is a song about resilience and not giving in to life's challenges. The song is a reminder that life may be tough, but with a positive attitude, good music, and resilience, we can overcome anything.
