My grandmother was buried February 2020. This was one of her most favorite songs. The day of the funeral service, all of her grandchildren, including me, sung this song in honor of her life as a missionary. This song holds a special place in our hearts; and now i can't seem too sing or listen to it now without getting a little emotional. Thank you Ron Hamilton, for creating this beautiful song that has given many people a special memory. I can't wait for the day i get too see my grandma again and tell that i saw Jesus in her.

Beautiful song and it made me cry as I can relate. My father passed away in 2017 at age 89. I thank God every day for the wonderful man He chose to be my earthly father.
I miss him so much and can't wait to see him again.

I am so thankful for this song. When my great grandmother died at the age of 92, my sister and I were asked to sing at the funeral. We knew just the song we needed to sing. This song was the first thing that came to our minds. This song was a blessing to so many at her funeral.

I’ve never had the privilege to meet Ron & Shelley Hamilton, but was raised to love the messages of their songs, from ‘Have you seen a wiggle worm’ to ‘My Quiet Time’.

Our church choir loves to sing your choral arrangements like ‘My God is a Rock’, The Secret Place’ & ‘Then Jesus Came’.

I met him at a majesty music seminar in Chicago. I attended classes with Shelly, and the highlight of the conference was singing in a choir directed by him. It is an experience I’ll never forget.

I have been serving our Lord here in the Philippines for the past 32 years and have a children's ministry. Patch the Pirate has been part of my life as far back as I can remember. My church had Patch the Pirate Club back when we wore pirate rags on our heads and sashes over our shoulders! I had the privilege of being in choir under Ron's directing during my college years. Now my children listen to and love the Patch stories. I'm so thankful for the testimony and life lessons Ron and his family have demonstrated. God bless. You are in my prayers.

So I can't say Mr. Hamilton and I knew each other; but growing up with his music and adventures I felt I knew him just a little bit. As an adult I had the opportunity to meet him once and my perception of him didn't change. He was gentle. Probably a better Christian, husband, father and music writer than many realize. I imagine the loving reception he had when he entered God's presence was something even he may not have envisioned. God rewards his faithful servants. Mr. Ron Hamilton was just that. Praise the Lord for the life led by Patch the Pirate.

I remember listening to Patch the Pirate as a young child and loving the stories. I still love listening to them to this day. I strongly believe that listening to Patch the Pirate (specifically Patch Goes to the Jungle) was a strong part in my surrendering to God’s call into full-time Christian service. I didn’t realize it until just a few months ago when I listened to the chorus of “Here Am I, Lord” from the CD.

I couldn't stop crying through this! Ron and his family have been part of our lives since the earliest years. My children grew up listening to every Patch adventure that came out, and our family loved all of the other Majesty Music songs as well. We have all been so blessed by this ministry, and have been praying, and hurting, and glorifying God along with them as they have faced every trial with God's grace and courage. We are so thankful that, through his family, Ron's legacy to Rejoice in the Lord will continue. Truly, Ron, we saw Jesus in you and we love you for it!

I love this tribute to Ron Hamilton. I was saved at the age of 23, then 13 mos later our 1st daughter was born. When she was 3 , Patch the Pirate came to our church & we loved the music & bought the 1st 10 pack case of cassette tapes. I'm showing my age as this was in 1990. I loved the adventures & songs as much as she did & grew in my faith. The last adventure we bought was 2003, still on cassette.😂 Now I listen to the tapes w/ my Grandson, thanks to your ministry to "kids" of all ages. ♡ the Hamilton family, thankful for Megan & Tara & their husbands & Jason continuing this family ministry, needful in these days!
