He went out looking for his next victim while driving his car

Dressed as he pleased, like every morning
He dressed however he wanted, like it was a normal routine

While they were laughing in the streets
People were enjoying their day in the street, unaware of the danger lurking

With matching shirts on tinny shoulders
They had on similar shirts and were probably feeling carefree

He came without a warning
The perpetrator came unexpectedly

And opened up his door
He made an invitation for the child to come closer

He tried to catch their little eyes
He attempted to make eye contact with the children to lure them in

So they could see what he was holding
He wanted to show the children his grasp on something he believes will interest them

And once he reached out for that boy
He tried to grab and take away that boy

Who couldn't guess where he was going
The child had no idea what was about to happen to him

Another heart is stolen
Another person has now become a victim of his actions

He walked into his car
He confidently walked to his vehicle to make his getaway

Devil's calling
The perpetrator was acting as the devil, calling out for the child to come nearer

Throws me to that sidewalk on a summer morning
This phrase represents the traumatic event that scarred the victim through his adult life

Stolen moments
The idea behind this line is that the victim's childhood was stolen

I can only pray I ran away
The victim lives with the hope that he managed to escape with his life

I woke up late
This could imply the victim is late from recovery or coming to terms with his traumatic past

When I was eight
The age in which he lost his innocence, and everything changed for him

I came out running at the corner
The victim ran away from the corner where he was approached and grabbed by the perpetrator

And there he was, Inside his car, His shinny suitcase, same as always
The perpetrator is portrayed to have his usual gimmick ready in his car, like he was prepared to do this as his job

I listened to his stories, And froze right on the spot
The victim was too young and naive to suspect anything, so he listened to the abuser's story

I heard him mumbling about a dog, and then a bite, And that he's worried
This line seems to reflect the perpetrator's way of engaging children into conversations before he goes ahead with his evil plan

And if I'll step into his car, Just for a while, I'll help him solve it
The perpetrator asked him to come in his car to help solve an issue in a manipulative manner

I said I'm sorry that he lost it, I think I ran away
The victim remembered this conversation and felt bad that he ran away, thinking that he'd hurt the perpetrator's feelings

Oh my god I hope I didn't stay
This line reflects the victim's deep desires to have made a different choice, hoping he didn't get into the perpetrator's car.
