Right Or Wrong
Ronnie Dove Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Right or wrong I'll be with you
I'll do what you ask me to
For I believe that I belong
By your side, right or wrong

Right or wrong it's got to be
Always you, always me
Won't you take me along
To be with you right or wrong?

If it's right for me to love you
It can't be wrong for me to care
If you will say you love me
My life with you I'll share

Right or wrong, day by day
All my love, all the way

For I believe that I belong
By your side, right or wrong

Two things, first Ronnie arrived at the height of the british invasion. A year or so earlier, many more would know of him. Next, I am 72, have listened to music since the early 50's, my FAVORITE double version, this and Wanda's version would be THIS. Loved them then and still do Also Ronnie was just so good, so many gems, so many album tunes that were great and two sided gems as well Years of Tears, Say You ,Kiss Away, Little Bit of Heaven, One Kiss for Old Times Sake, the list goes on. Have always loved the man!!!

Christopher Dawson. The British invasion was the end of a lot of American singers and Ronnie was one of them. Bobby Vee, Jimmy Clanton, Bobby Rydell, Fabian, Frankie Avalon and the list goes on and on. It makes me sad.

This song got me in a heap of trouble as a kid. I was head over heels in love at 14. This song just filled my heart ❤ with all the promise and emotions of love ! I married at 16!, had a baby. Today I'm not sorry , my son is 56. But it was big trouble then!! 😂

A beautiful song by a great artist.

Remember when this song came out amidst the British Invasion. Loved his classic voice and soulful feeling that harks back to the 50's era. That falsetto at the end seals it!
