Two Different Worlds

We live in two different worlds
For we've been told
That a love like ours could never be
So far apart
They say we're so far apart
And that we haven't the right
To change our destiny
When will they learn
That a heart doesn't draw the line
Nothing matters if I am yours
And you are mine
Two different worlds
We live in two different worlds
But we will show them
As we walk together in the sun
That our two different worlds are one
Two different worlds
We live in two different worlds
But we will show them
As we walk together in the sun
That our two different worlds are one
The song "Two Different Worlds" by Ronnie Hilton describes a love that is not accepted by society. The two people in love are from different worlds, and have been told that their love could never be successful. The society claims that they are too far apart and they haven't the right to change their destiny. The couple faces a massive obstacle to overcome the societal norms and judgment, but they believe that their love can defy all these trials. The song is an anthem of hope for all those who face the disapproval of society for their love.
The song underlines the idea that love knows no social boundaries and that true love is beyond the prejudices and stereotypes of a society. It questions the society's standards of who gets to love whom and highlights the impermanence of societal norms. The song provides a message of hope to those who are in love with someone from another background or class because as they never know when they find someone who's meant to be, it is the heart that matters, not the world they come from.
