The song "El Ganador" by Rosendo speaks about a person who believes he is the winner, but others around him know he is not. The lyrics convey a sense of frustration with this individual's arrogance and a desire for him to remove the blindfold and see the truth. The singer tries to persuade this person to come with him and take a journey together, all the while offering advice to face challenges head-on and to take control of one's fate.
The repeated phrase "Quítese la venda en cuanto tenga la ocasión" translates to "Remove the blindfold as soon as you have the chance." The singer is suggesting that this person needs to take off the blindfold of ignorance and realize that there is much more to life than they currently see. The final line, "Dé la vuelta al ruedo recogiendo la ovación" means "Take a lap around the ring, collecting cheers." The message is clear - if this person can face their challenges and remove their blindfold, they too can become the winner they believe they are.
Overall, the song is a call to action for those who are only pretending to be the winner. It is a reminder that you can only truly be a winner if you face your challenges head-on and take control of your destiny.
