On January 2005 Spinefarm released "Exit"-album, which went immediately to the Finnish charts and stayed for three weeks. "Exit" also received praising reviews from different medias around the world and was claimed as one of the most important extreme releases of the year 2005. After the release of "Exit" Rotten Sound toured in Scandinavia, U.S. and went on a second headlining tour in Europe during January 2006.
Sami Latva joined Rotten Sound in February 2006 to replace long-time drummer, Kai Hahto. The band was expecting to go on a hiatus in 2006, but, thanks to Sami, could start to prepare for the next studio session immediately. They recorded eight new songs for "Consume to Contaminate"-MCD during April 2006. Lyrical content of "Consume to Contaminate" is handling again difficult issues on this globe with loads of cynisism and a touch of death.
Rotten Sound has made four full length albums, ten shorter releases, five European tours, two U.S.-tours, three scandinavian tours and is one of the leading bands in grind-core. Now "Consume to Contaminate" introduces the new heavy, aggressive and insane Rotten Sound: a band which is prepared to take destructive powers of grind-core a few big leaps ahead.
Under Pressure
Rotten Sound Lyrics

In a crowded place
When living with nobody
Who could kill
Is it possible to be afraid
When one can be saved?
Can I sleep again?
Shall I gain more pain?
When seeing no-one else
Around your pathetic existence
Not a single soul who could hurt you
When you're slain into the drain
Can I sleep again?
Will I keep the gain?
Shall I gain more pain?
Breathtaking pressure
Underneath all of us
The survived ones
Who will never survive
Who will never survive
Breathtaking pressure
Underneath all of us
The survived ones
Who will never survive
While being alone
In a crowded place
When living with nobody
Who could kill
Is it possible to be afraid
When one can be saved?
Can I sleep again?
Will I keep the gain?
Shall I gain more pain?
The lyrics to Rotten Sound's "Under Pressure" portray a bleak and lonely existence where the fear of being harmed by others is absent, and instead, a harrowing emptiness is overwhelming. The singer seems to be in a state of confusion and uncertainty, questioning whether they will ever be able to find peace, or if the pain will continue to increase. The repeated line "Can I sleep again?" is a testament to the weariness and exhaustion that comes with living in constant emotional turmoil. The phrase "breathtaking pressure" highlights the weight that the singer feels bearing down on them, coupled with the knowledge that their survival is not guaranteed. The chorus of "The survived ones, who will never survive" seems to suggest that even though the singer may live, they will never truly thrive or feel complete.
Overall, the lyrics to "Under Pressure" are a poignant commentary on the struggle for emotional stability in the face of overwhelming loneliness and fear. The song's somber tone and heavy instrumentation add to the bleak atmosphere of the lyrics, making it a powerful reflection of the darker aspects of the human experience.
