The song "Vem, Habib (Wala Wala)" by Rouge is a love song that speaks about the singer's search for love in the desert. The lyrics are in Portuguese, but the chorus "wala wala" is Persian, meaning "come, come." The song begins with the repetition of "wala wala" and "na na na" which serves as an invitation for the listener to immerse themselves in the music and dance.
The singer in the song speaks of searching for love, stating that she looked for it in a thousand and one nights. She refers to love as an oasis in her heart that she finally found. The use of the word 'Habib', which is Arabic for love, shows the influence of Arabic culture, which is an essential component of the song.
The singer wishes for her love, 'Habib', to come to her and give her warmth. Additionally, the song contains an element of fantasy, as she references fairy tales such as 'Ali Baba' and a 'prince charming.' Ultimately, the singer tells 'Habib' that she wants to spend a thousand and one nights with him.
Overall, the song is a celebration of love, with lyrics and a melody that encourages people to dance and be joyful.
