1) Born in Cluj-Napoca on 5 January 2000 as Larisa Roxana Giurgiu, Roxen discovered their passion for music at the age of seven. They also took singing and piano lessons as a child. Signed by Global Records, they were featured on Romanian producer Sickotoy's "You Don't Love Me" in August 2019. The single attained commercial success in Romania, reaching number three on the country's Airplay 100 chart, and being playslisted by radio stations in several territories including France, United States, Russia and Spain. Their debut single "Ce-ți cântă dragostea" was released in the November of the same year, and peaked at number two in Romania.
In early February 2020, it was reported that Roxen was one of three artists shortlisted to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020; broadcaster Romanian Television (TVR) had collaborated with Global Records for the selection. On 11 February, they were revealed as the Romanian representative. Their five songs for Selecția Națională—"Alcohol You", "Beautiful Disaster", "Cherry Red", "Colors" and "Storm"—were released on 21 February 2020.[10] "Alcohol You" emerged as the winner of the national final. On 13th of May they released their new single "Spune-mi" along with the music video.
2) Roxen (Urdu: روزن) is a Pakistani band, formed back in September 2004 with initial line up Mustafa a.k.a musti , Jawad a.k.a Jodi and Omar came out with their debut song "Yaadein" which topped almost all e-zines and laters the video topped all local music channels. After a couple of months they came out with web release of another song called "tau phir aoo" with its demo version which needs no introduction at all. Over 65000 downloads in one month the song is now everywhere. After adding another young talent Haider from lahore underground the band started working on there debut album at Xth Harmonic in October '05 and later came out with another audio/video of there track "Sapnay" directed by Ahmed Ali Butt. "Sapnay" is your perfect rock number' says "The News International" .With tints of pop and dark shades of rock too, Roxen is ready to hit the market with there debut album on august 31st, 2006.
Album will be released under Fire Records (Pakistan), Hom Records (India) & Sangeet Records (Usa, Canada, North America & almost all over the world)
