It's great being able to watch and listen to such a great Christmas song in 2024. It certainly takes me back to the 1970's with a sense of nostalgia and pride but also with great horror aswell. I grew up in Catholic Ireland, where members of the clergy roamed at will doing what they did looking for their next victim. That cast a terrible dark cloud over a generations childhoods.

And hit number one around the freezing Christmas (just like now) in 1973. Roy Wood was one of the greatest singer songwriters ever. 2024? Just before Christmas, I haven’t heard this in years. This song makes me so emotional along with I’ll Stand By You. The female lead Chrissie is an incredible singer and the music in the background wow 40 years old goosebumps. You don’t get music like this anymore period.
