The wise guys go that's Park's Place
Showgirls swing when the chairman sings
At Park's Place-Park's Place
Yes my friends
It's the livin' end
Park's Place
The lights, fights and skirts
Mugs and thugs and big old lugs
Dig Park's Place
Man they really ball at Park's Place
They're high, they're low
They blow their dough
At Park's Place
Man the time flies at Park's Place
Yes my friend it's livin' in Park's Place
In Royal Crown Revue's song "Park's Place," the lyrics describe a glamorous and exciting location where wise guys, showgirls, mugs, thugs, and big old lugs go to have a good time. This place, Park's Place, is full of lights, fights, and skirts, and is the livin' end where people blow their dough in pursuit of high times. The chairman sings while showgirls swing, and the energy is palpable as everyone really balls at Park's Place.
The lyrics in "Park's Place" convey a sense of indulgence and reckless abandon, as people come to this place to escape their daily lives and enter a world of glitz and glamour. The use of slang and colloquial language, such as "wise guys" and "mugs" adds to the sense of authenticity and atmosphere of the song, transporting the listener to this place where anything goes. There is a feeling of timelessness, as the people at Park's Place are high, low, and in-between; they are united by their desire to live it up and experience the excitement of being at Park's Place.
