Here I Come
Royal Republic Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I don′t feel like waiting
I don't feel like waiting
Hesitating
Anymore
Say
Don′t wanna hear you saying
Don't wanna hear you saying
Anymore
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
So
Take it slow
Touch and go
Let it grow
Yeah, you know
Take
Go ahead and take me
Take my picture
Make me richer
Rock′n′roll
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Here I come
(There you go)
Here I come now
Oooh
Aaah
Hey!
Here I come!
(There you go!)
I think it's time you let me know
What goes on below
Here I come!
(There you go!)
And you don′t have to say no more
No
Here I come!
(There you go!)
And I'm just about to throw myself
Off from this plato
Here I come!
(There you go!)
I think it′s time I let you go
And get on with the show
Ooh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Ooh, oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh
Yeaaaaah!
Here I come
Here I come now
Here I come
Here I come now
Here I come
Here I come now
Here I come
Here I come now
Here I come
Here I come now
Here I come
Here I come now
Here I come!
The lyrics to Royal Republic's song "Here I Come" convey a sense of urgency and determination. The singer is tired of waiting and hesitating in a situation, possibly a romantic relationship, where they feel uncertain and unwanted. They express a desire for clarity and directness, telling the other person that they don't want to hear any more mixed signals or rejections. The phrase "Here I come" is repeated throughout the song, suggesting a readiness to take action and assert themselves.
The lyrics also touch upon themes of self-confidence and empowerment. The singer is assertive in their pursuit, declaring that they are coming and demanding to be seen and acknowledged. They want to be taken seriously and are willing to dive into the unknown, even if it means risking rejection or failure. The chorus emphasizes their determination, highlighting their readiness to make progress and move forward.
Overall, "Here I Come" is an anthem of self-assurance, encouraging listeners to be bold, assertive, and unafraid to pursue what they want. It captures the excitement and energy of stepping outside one's comfort zone and taking charge of their own destiny.
