Fly Tonight

No one could ever deny
Oh! Here
Gravity takes to the sky
Daydreams not enough for us
We can't hide behind this feeling
Losers find a place for love
Take me up
Wanna fly tonight
Take me up
Gonna fly tonight
Take me uh, uh, uh up
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
We can fly tonight
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
We can fly tonight
You (yeah you)
You and I see eye to eye
You (yeah you)
Show me that truth is a lie
Daydreams not enough for us
We can't hide behind this feeling
Losers find a place for love
Up above the clouds
Take me up
Wanna fly tonight
Take me up
Gonna fly tonight
Take me uh, uh uh up
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
We can fly tonight
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
We can fly tonight
Nothing, nothing, really matters
We're taking off, let's go get lost
Nothing, nothing, really matters
We're taking off, let's go get lost
Take me higher, and higher
We're taking off, off, off, off
Take me up
Gonna fly tonight
Take me up
Gonna fly tonight
Take me up
Wanna fly tonight
Take me up
Gonna fly tonight
..night, night, night..
Take me uh, uh uh up
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
We can fly tonight
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
Woah oh oh
We can fly tonight
We fly tonight, we fly tonight, we fly tonight
We can fly tonight
We fly tonight, we fly tonight, we fly tonight
We can fly tonight
We fly tonight, we fly tonight, we fly tonight
We fly tonight, we fly tonight, we fly tonight
The song Fly Tonight by RuPaul conveys a message of empowerment and the desire to break free from the mundane, and soar into the sky. The lyrics talk about the limitations we face in our daily lives and how we all have daydreams of doing something extraordinary, but often shy away from it due to fear of failure. RuPaul urges us to break free from these shackles and take risks to achieve our goals, urging us to take a leap of faith and fly tonight.
The lines "Losers find a place for love, up above the clouds" speaks about how love isn't meant for everyone, and those who fail to find it in their daily lives can escape to a world that they create for themselves, a world with no limits, where they can love and be loved by anyone, without judgment. Right from the opening line, "Here, no one could ever deny, oh! Here, gravity takes to the sky," the singer sets up a world of his own, a place that’s removed from the monotony and restrictions of daily life. The song conveys a message that we all have the capacity to fly, both literally and metaphorically, and it’s up to us to find the courage to take that first step.
