The Quiet Revolution
Still remember the anticipation we had getting ready for the Rufus concert back in '77. We'd decided to make a day of it. The three hour trip seemed to go quickly. Made it to the auditorium with a half hour to spare. The opening act was Rose Royce (yeah, she was hot too). Then The Spinners appeared with full orchestra. Finally, what we'd all been waiting for: Rufus featuring Chaka Khan. They performed all their greatest songs with "Hollywood" being the final encore. One of the best two hour matinee shows ever! The big finale: The return trip to base during sunset...
