The lyrics to Rupam Islam's song, Cross The Line, invite listeners to take bold steps and break free from the barriers that restrict them. The song urges listeners to cross boundaries, whether external or internal, and venture into unknown territory. The repetition of the phrase "come cross the line" is a call to action, a challenge to embrace the unknown and overcome one's fears.
The lyrics also evoke a sense of urgency and relevance to the current times, where social and religious barriers continue to divide communities. The lines "dharmer bibhed, bhule bhedabhed" suggest that there is no difference between people of different religions or castes, and that it is time to break away from these divisions. The use of the word "bibhrantite" (delusion) reinforces this idea of the need to move past the illusions and prejudices that hold us back from progress.
Overall, the song's lyrics serve as a battle cry, urging listeners to embrace change and take control of their lives by venturing into the unknown. It encourages people to have faith in their ability to cross over into new territories, both literal and metaphorical.
