Shi-di-ri-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
Shi-di-ri-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
I want you to want me as I dance
Round and round and round
Shi-di-ri-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
Shi-di-ri-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
Forever and ever go, go, go wild dancers
Day-na-day-na want to be loved
Day-na gonna take my wild chances
Day-na-day-na freedom above
Day-na-da-na-da I'm wild dancing
Hey!
Desire, inside two
My head spins
Round and round and round
Shi-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
Shi-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
I want you to want me
So I dance
Round and round and round
Hey
Shi-di-duy, shi-di-ri-di-da-na
Forever and ever go, go, go wild dancers
Day-na-day-na want to be loved
Day-na gonna take my wild chances
Day-na-day-na freedom above
Day-na-da-na-da I'm wild dancing
Hey!
Dance forever, come and be mine
Dance together, till the end of time
Dance together go, go, go wild dancers
Day-na-day-na want to be loved
Day-na gonna take my wild chances
Day-na-day-na freedom above
Day-na-da-na-da I'm wild dancing
Hey! Hey!

Ruslana's song "Wild Dances" is a celebratory anthem about dancing and freedom. The lyrics are about the singer's desire to be loved and accepted through dance. She seems to feel a bit crazy and swept up in the moment, but that only adds to her passion for dancing. She wants everyone to dance with her and let go of their worries and fears, to be wild and free. This feeling of freedom is reinforced by the repetition of the phrase "day-na-day-na", which sounds like "day by day", encouraging people to take each day as it comes and to live each moment to the fullest.
Despite the song being mostly in Ukrainian, it became popular across Europe and even in the United States. The song won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004, making Ruslana one of Ukraine's most successful artists. It is a high-energy song with a mix of traditional and modern elements, including folk instruments and electronic beats. The song's music video features Ruslana leading a group of dancers in a wild and energetic performance, reflecting the song's message of dance and freedom.
Overall, "Wild Dances" is a fun and uplifting song that celebrates the simple joy of dancing and encourages people to let go of their inhibitions and live life to the fullest.
