After scoring his first interactive game in 1981 for Disney's Epcot, Russell’s career highlights include: Sound Supervisor and Mixer for Warner Bros. Animation (Animaniacs; Batman the Animated Series), Media Designer and Musical Director for Walt Disney Imagineering (DisneyQuest Virtual Reality Games; Tokyo DisneySea theme park), among many others. His freelance career spans from the original motion picture TRON to the MTV series Aeon Flux to the best-selling game Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. Russell is currently the Audio Director for Blizzard Entertainment, developer of the award-winning MMORPG game, World of Warcraft. Alongside Derek Duke and Matt Uelmen, he created the soundtrack for Blizzards first major expansion, The Burning Crusade, which contained many orchestrated pieces from loud and aggressive to quiet and gentle themes. He has also worked on the soundtrack for Blizzards second expansion to World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King.

I love this song so much. The first half is simply amazing. It makes you feel the eternal conflict. Second half is soothing compared to the first half of the song. But the song ends on a high note. Making you feel the conflict at hand. You can feel the despair and divine forces battling the forces of darkness. Simply put that song is so Diablo and so hauntingly beautiful.
