i was just listening to it play on the tv, on the the app suggestion window in Fable Anniversary, while i worked at my computer, and started moving to it with soft movements. then thought of putting it in a more metaphysical playlist on my itunes, to which i tried to work out where to pick up a copy.
you may find one of the two themes / menu music tracks, to GTA V, while of another style, can create some of the same effects.
you could try the menu / theme music to Farcry 4 i think it is. That has perhaps a Tibetan style to it.
thanks

In 2015 a good friend of mine took his own life.
At the time, I used to listen to videogame soundtracks while I worked. Bowerlake was a particular favourite to help me get things done with a clear head.
Now, it reminds me of saying goodbye. The tone of the song has changed from one of "finding a new area to explore" to "being at peace with what has been"
But its still just as beautiful as it was the first time I heard it.
Thank you Russell Shaw.

I’ve relied on ‘Summer Fields’ throughout my childhood, tweens, teenage years, and even young adulthood. I’ve roughly got about 100k+ plays alone on it - I leave it playing on repeat or in combination with ‘Bowerlake.’
It’s tremendously therapeutic, nostalgic yet, powerful. Especially, right on that ‘lift’ in dynamics starting at 3:00 where the ensemble just moves like a beautiful wave moving towards the shore or wind moving all the trees in a forest and then back to a peaceful and relaxing calm.
There has to be more of these. If not, I hope composers of today and tomorrow at least make it a bucket list goal to create a piece of a similar style and caliber.

The Skyrim OST as well. Particularly the tracks “The Streets of Whiterun” and “Journey’s End”.

Puts me into a state of introspection and peace. I often listen to it when i want to sleep or brush my teeth.

For a game that can be fairly dark, Fable sure had beautiful moments.
