Phase transitions
The Universe changes its form
And its properties into water
Water changes its form
And to the swine though the divide
He loses mind and his design
Create, evolve and align
The seventh day
Design

Earth two angels
Carry out war
In the name of God
Kill fight conquer

Followers of Christ assume
Eviticus exodus hexagram

Ian omps psalms
Evolve become none

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Rwake's song Leviticus seem to be discussing the cyclical nature of the universe and the different forms that matter can take. The concept of phase transitions is introduced, where matter changes form and properties. The idea of water changing form is also explored. The lyrics then shift towards discussing the divide between man and animal. Man loses his mind and his design when he becomes too animalistic. The seventh day is mentioned indicating the biblical creation story.

The lyrics then switch to discussing angels carrying out war in the name of God, and followers of Christ assuming the roles of several biblical figures. Leviticus, Exodus, Hexagram, and Psalms are all mentioned. The lyrics conclude with the idea of evolving to become none, possibly indicating a rejection of organized religion and embracing a sense of detachment from worldly concerns.

Okay my friend, I dug out my vinyl, the lyrics are inside... here you go!:
Phase transitions,
The universe changes its form and its properties
into water,
water changes its form and to the swine,
though the divide he loses mind and his design,
create, evolve, and align, the seventh day design
earth two angels carry out war in the name of god,
kill fight conquer, followers of Christ assume leviticus,

exodus, hexagram ian omps psalms evolve,
become none!!!

That's all the vinyl has for lyrics for this song. CT through a few other vocal parts into the song that aren't with the lyrics, but this is 90%. Hope this makes you happy and you are still using this YouTube account, it's been 12 years!

Mind blown. The amount of energy in this soul tearing music is unbelievable

@SnowyFinland

Another way to spell 'ass-kickingness' is 'R', 'W', 'A', 'K', 'E'. Enough Rwakes and rock might again begin to amount to something worthwhile. Raw. Authentic with no pitiful, lame mannered vocal. No robotic speed solos devoid of rhythmic feel. No BS. Take no prisoners. If only more of us lived life the way Rwake play their music, I'd be able to consistently wake up in the morning with a smile of optimism lighting up my face.

@ImmortalDestructor

@EmeraldMinnie

I saw them at a coffee shop in Paragould Arkansas which I think was called The Drip. They played with a couple of other bands (The Ridin' Dudes, Drowning Ophelia, and one I can't remember). I remember a friend of mine had to help him set up Rwake's VHS player. They played the anal rape scene from I Spit on Your Grave during their set.

It was an all ages show.

@Thulcandro

😒sounds dead fucking serious😮

@MisterBolticus

The rage of this song sounds so enclosed yet so open at the same time. The crushing riffs, haunting vocals and just general awesomeness. I think I've found a new favourite band
