SUNNY
Ryan J. Lane Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Walked with no one and talked with no one
And I had nothing but shadows
Then one morning you passed
And I brightened at last
Now I greet the day and complete the day
With the sun in my heart
All my worry blew away
When you taught me how to say

Grab your coat and get your hat
Leave your worry on the doorstep
Just direct your feet
To the sunny side of the street
Can't you hear a pitter-pat?
And that happy tune is your step
Life can be so sweet
On the sunny side of the street

I used to walk in the shade
With those blues on parade
But I'm not afraid
This Rover crossed over

If I never have a cent
I'd be rich as Rockefeller
Gold dust at my feet

On the sunny side of the street
Grab your street

Overall Meaning

Ryan J. Lane's song "Sunny" is a song about finding happiness after dealing with shadows and worries for a long time. The lyrics talk about how the singer used to walk with no one and talk with no one and how they had nothing but shadows. However, one morning, he met someone who taught him how to brighten up and greet the day with the sun in his heart. The person taught him to not worry and to look at the bright side of things. Now, the singer completes his day with the sun in his heart and all his worries disappear because of the lesson he learned.

The chorus of the song teaches the lesson the singer learned to the listeners. They should grab their coat and hat and leave their worries on the doorstep. They should direct their feet to the sunny side of the street where life can be sweet, and they can hear a happy tune in their steps. The singer used to walk in the shade with blues on parade but he's not afraid anymore as he crossed over to the sunny side of the street. Even if he had no money, he would still feel rich and have gold dust at his feet.

Overall, Ryan J. Lane's song "Sunny" teaches us to not worry and always look at the bright side of things. It shows that even after dealing with darkness and worries, there is always light on the other side if one keeps looking for it.

Poor horse is probably going to end up with destroyed legs and hooves thanks to that dude cantering and galloping on the road for an extensive period of time
(The horseshoe is only here to help for a short amount of time )
Also he is lucky that this horse is very bombproof
Edit : he was bleeding on two of his hooves
Poor horse
Bad saddle sores also not surprising
I really hope that horse is in a good place

Hope this horse was taken away because this is blatant abuse

Poor thing was exhausted at the end
20:30 this was so awful to watch
No one is checking on the horse too 😩

No one is talking about how well trained the horse is. Most horses would’ve been freaking out with all the noise.

Actually the horse was in pain and exhausted because he did not properly put the ropes/saddle on and the hooves against the pavement so it didn't have the energy to freak out. And if you look carefully he was bouncing pretty hard on the horse which from what I read had also severely injured the back. But unfortunately I saw what is believed to be his social media accounts and somehow he managed to get new horses.

@wanderlustandsparkle even horses are nervous when cops make them pull up lol

wanderlustandsparkle

@PoizonGirl Yes most animals including humans (we are animals too) are nervous in many situations in which we are uncomfortable in. Also please don't use the lol when talking about a serious situation as this one it's not even slightly funny.

@PoizonGirl if you really think it’s funny you are the opposite of a reasonably intelligent human being

@wanderlustandsparkle So, therefore, in this case, would not the horse react to quell the pain and discomfort by shunning and shunting the rider to sit on the street? I believe that a tired mare would have more power than a mere human.

Good news to those who are worried for Nunu's (the horse) health. So running on the pavement for so long did unfortunately cause a lot of damage to her, horses cannot run on pavement for long periods of time without getting injured. They weren't sure if she'd make it, but she is recovering well now and is being held at a recovery ranch so she can be loved and run around in the soft grass instead of hot pavement

Thank goodness
