Come on
S.H.H.I.T Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I'm a come up I'm a do better
I'm a get mine no matter the weather
Gone be days when nothing goes right
No matter what don't give up the fight
I'm a come up I'm a do better
I'm a get mine no matter the weather
Gone be days when nothing goes right
No matter what don't give up the fight
Things do happen that we don't understand
Know we try our best to do the best that we can
Losing our money wasn't part of the plan
Failing at a dream we invested it in
Got to keep Got to keep Got to going
Got to keep Got to keep Got to going
Got to stay strong got to keep on
And when that rain come, no it won't last long
Need determination to weather the storm
Once you got that no you can't go wrong
I'm a come up I'm a do better
I'm a get mine no matter the weather
Gone be days when nothing goes right
No matter what - don't give up the fight
I'm a come up I'm a do better
I'm a get mine no matter the weather
Gone be days when nothing goes right
No matter what - don't give up the fight
And there can be a brighter day
I just got to try hard - got to find a way
I don't care what nobody out there have to say
I believe in myself I'm a be ok
And I know who I am
Can't nothing hold me back
I go hard for what I want
Give my all and don't look back
I'm a come up I'm a do better
I'm a get mine no matter the weather
Gone be days when nothing goes right
No matter what don't give up the fight
I'm a come up I'm a do better
I'm a get mine no matter the weather

Gone be days when nothing goes right
No matter what don't give up the fight

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to S.H.H.I.T's Come On have deep emotional resonances. The lyrics primarily describe the singer's feelings of heartbreak and regret following their lover's departure. The first verse highlights the power of emotional trauma, something that leaves a lasting impact on a person's heart. The singer reflects on her wounds, which, although invisible, are permanent. She then reflects on how her former lover left her for another, even after being given all of her love and devotion. This agonizing thought refuses to release her. The second verse is no less poignant, as the singer recalls a promise that was unfulfilled, and she is now waiting for him to come back to her, as if trying to recover the love that she once had.

Ultimately, the song asks the listener to come back to the singer's life, inviting the lover for one final change, even if it means forsaking everything else. It's an open appeal for that love is too valuable to relinquish quickly. There is a lot of angst, remorse and poignant elements seen in the lyrics which only make the song more powerful.

Thanks for all the appreciations, suggestions, feedback and clip recommendations that I missed out on. If I ever do a part 2 or redo this video I'll add those clips then. Sorry about the cuts, fade outs, it was all to avoid copyright, which didn't really work out. When a video such as this one gets popular enough, someone does copyright claim it. Any video of mine that has any bit of traction has a claim. It just means if you see an ad on my video its not from me and occasionally video may get blocked in some countries. I just don't want copyright strikes, which can just nuke my channel in its entirety.

My videos are not transformative enough that I can get youtube monetization. But I do want to make more videos. So, I have started a patreon. Consider subscribing if you want. Any help is appreciated. Here's my patreon:

Thanks again!!

This is the last in the series of videos about shooting tropes that I had planned and setup. Not doing more gun tropes anytime soon though I do have a list of those planned but thats after 20-30ish videos down the line. Videos getting kind of samey, so a perfect place to end it for now. Can move on to other videos.
Trying to get around copyright is really tedious, have to upload and check videos again and again. Sometimes it detects only after a while of the video being up so might sometimes have to remove the video or parts of it at least. If I do remove parts of a long standing video I'll leave a note or let you know at least. I'll probably just unlist the videos that gets copyright claimed and link the unlisted video on the redone video.

New videos planned in order . Should come soon. ๐Ÿ —
Easy way or the hard way redo (had copyright claims, damn you Dr Who. Was planning on adding new clips anyway so its not that bad.)

I don't think 7:05 was Boondock Saints. It's been awhile but it didn't look familiar.

Tom Beaven

Smart.. love the vid though

TJ

Thanks for all your Great and Hard work putting together these videos!

BBBJOT

real drag how you've faded out the gunshot sound in many of these clips with the fade-to-black

JAS

If there is a part 2 you should definitely add the ending of The Long Goodbye (Elliot Gould as Philip Marlowe). Definitely one of the coldest scenes of justice being served!

"I wasn't going to but you kind of talked me into it."
This is an absolutely iconic exchange of dialogue.
