So, here is what is happening:
1. The "EXPERT on Messianic figures from the time of Jesus" has one job... And that is Messianic figure finding and researching, and the fact is you don't find much, not evidence from the time 2000years ago, those have been destroyed unless they were at a scale of the case of Jesus. So, if he doesn't have any figures to find and relate, he will create a few. And this turns out to be a good plot for him to do such thing..

2. Why would he do it?
For gaining popularity, for getting peoples attention. And if he get more, then he will find a way to write books or go to shows to earn money.

3. The Truth is already known and NatGeo needs "new" things. What people might be wanting to see..
Again just to sell...

4. Other evidence will disagree and so will other EXPERTs but, why he? Because he can give something NEW that National Geographic can show.

Couldn't this tablet be considered as a prophecy of Jesus? I always thought it was odd when I grew up in Catholic school. I knew that the Greeks and Romans had myths about demigods and incarnations of gods on Earth, and so I just assumed it was sort of a plagiarized story. Now this god, the god of Judaism, has a demigod son/incarnation. However, I’ve since believed I’ve encountered Jesus and that his life force still heals today as it did before. Whether he is god or not, his presence is very powerful and he has great power for those who encounter it. Yet he is a very subtle force in this world; you won’t likely encounter him at all unless SHOWN him.

Also worth noting is that the Epic of Gilgamesh has destroyed the claim that Noah's version was unique. We have the Epic of Gilgamesh and a Sumerian kings list that list king Gilgamesh as being a real, existing human being. And his flood story precedes the Old Testament Noah's story, making the Old Testament's authenticity very questionable.

There are many prophecies about Jesus death and ressurection that are older than the tablet. So, it's not something new to Christians. That's why Jesus are angry at the Pharisees, because they already know the truth, they already know that the Messiah must die and rise again, but they don't want to believe that Jesus is Messiah.

Books with any discrepancies were rejected. It is perhaps the most sound collection of documents to ever exist on a historical/religious topic. Yet, so many accept other ancient history with absolute Faith, even though most data comes from a few incomplete documents with the rest filled in with mans logic and imagination... The problem with using the bible to prove itself through prophecy is that doing so requires the use of a double standard. For events described in the New Testament to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament; or for modern-day events to fit the prophecies of the End Times, those prophecies have to be a little vague. Meanwhile, to prove the End Times are coming, people argue with certainty that they understand these modern events as well as said OT and NT prophecies. And what some people need to realize is that, as is the same with modern day culture, these religious groups were groups within groups. Therefore, from the time Isaiah was written to the time the NT was written, just like from then to modern day; there have been plenty of religious groups to change the meaning of the prophecies as well as set standards for "proof" of fulfillment.

we're all just following the line that God has written. Many messengers like Abraham, Moses, Noah, etc. have been sent to all civilizations to remind them of the existence of God. That's pretty much it. Either it's before or after Jesus or Jesus died or live or whatever, it doesn't matter. it's all about reminding us humans that keep forgetting or arrogant to say that God doesn't exist. does it matter who the messenger is if we don't listen to the message? Be careful also of false information to sway you from that line. Some lies are mixed with a little bit of truth. Stay on the straight path and don't deviate or you'll get lost. If you're lost, sometimes you might be able to get back but some will be forever lost. Fool by the mirage of lies. Many are caught in the lies and can't tell the difference anymore. That's why God sends his messengers to help stay on the path of truth. But, not everyone is ready to listen or believe. And some are even caught and killed. Such are men's hearts.

Of course the story of the resurrection is all over the Old Testament and then Jesus fulfilled all those prophecies one by one until his death on the cross, his burial in a rich man’s tomb and his resurrection after three days and his ascension to heaven to sit at the right hand of God.
