Inside Out
S.O.R.B. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Divide your cultured pearls in haste
I'm looking for to lay to waste
Of all the things I cannot taste
And this is not the racy race, they spoke loud

(I believe in what you do)
(I believe in watching you)
(I believe in what you do) it's what you do
(I believe in watching you)

I could turn you inside-out
What I choose not to do
I could turn you inside-out
What I choose not to do

Given the choice
Given the heart
Given the tool
Given the word
Given the cheers

(I believe in what you do)
(I believe in watching you)
(I believe in what you do) it's what you do
(I believe in watching you)

(I believe in what you do)
(I believe in watching you) I, I, I, I, I

I could turn you inside-out
What I choose not to do
I could turn you inside-out
What I choose not to do

I believe in what you do
I believe in watching you
I believe in what you do (given the choice)
I believe in watching you (given the heart)
I believe in what you do (given the tool)
I believe in watching you (given the word)
I believe in what you do (given the cheers)
I believe in watching you

I could, I

I could turn you inside-out
What I choose not to do
I could turn you inside-out
What I choose not to do

Given the choice
Given the heart
Given the tool
Given the word
Given the cheers
Given the cheers

Overall Meaning

The song "Inside Out" presents a deeply insidious attitude towards something or someone. The lyrics emphasize the singer's power and agency over the object or person they address. They use a metaphor of turning someone inside out, which implies complete control and domination over the other person. The singer divides their cultured pearls in haste, suggesting a lack of patience or care, because they are keen to lay something to waste. Whatever they seek to lay to waste is something they cannot taste; this ambiguity leaves the listener guessing about what is being referred to. Additionally, the lyrics state that this is not the racy race, they spoke loud, which could imply that the singer is uninterested in the hustle and bustle of competition or in convincing others of their position.

The song can be interpreted in various ways, but one possible reading is that it depicts someone who has a disdainful or destructive attitude towards an idea or person they view as inferior or unworthy. The chorus seems to assert the singer's power over the other person, suggesting that they could turn them inside out but choose not to do so. However, the repetition of the line "I believe in what you do" could be read as an admission of a complicated and uncertain relationship between the two parties. The lyrics "given the choice," "given the heart," "given the tool," "given the word," and "given the cheers" evoke the theme of ownership, as if the singer seeks to take control of something that belongs to the other person.

Overall, the song seems to convey a message that is both subtle and menacing. It explores power dynamics, agency, and control in relationships, and presents a complex and nuanced view of human interactions.

@jeffreyjamesgourlay2856

That one guy did the 100 meter deep snow dash sure moved his ass quick. Respect to him.

@5oClockShadows

@@jeffreyjamesgourlay2856 he was only gonna make that ball bounce higher if he was trying really hard to stop it

@jeffreyjamesgourlay2856

@@5oClockShadows Maybe he had a knife on him and could've saved those idiot guys lives..he was certainly motivated to close the distance.

@Kira-pv4xq

@@jeffreyjamesgourlay2856No. They were people who paid to do that because the guy chasing the ball promised it was safe. The guy brought in a zorb and made people pay to try it out even when he had never tested it. Basically he is at most fault.

@fattony48

I don't think rolling a ball down a hill and it ending up at the bottom is a freak accident.

@MrSir07

“Freak Accident”? That wasn’t an accident, that was pure stupidity!

@TransferAir

Yes!, with rich, stupid freaks who pushing their friends into death ☠️
Such a ZORB plus the whole organization is pretty expensive, just btw.
And again: meanwhile in Russia 🥶😂✌🏼

@IronWarrior95

Exactly, common sense!!
If I was standing there at the top, it would be my first thought, if the zorb can roll to the left downhill and what happens, if it actually does. I would say it's a 50/50 chance that the ball will go to the wrong direction. Even 5/95 wouldn't good enough for me to get into this thing! It was obvious that the wrong case scenario will happen soon or later!
