I'm into your eyes.....Ya got me tongue tied
Comin' from, deep down and beneath the dark side
You cut like.....c dull knife
I'm sidelined, feels like your crossin' all the lines
Can ya feel it now...I really wanna know
I think it's time for you to go
This madness.....It's smashin'
Broken glass, this love lost somewhere in the past
Don't pretend.....Can't comprehend
Your lips move, I ain't pickin' up a single word you've said
Can ya feel it now...I really need to know
Can ya feel it now...I really have to know
This time, it's time for me to go
Can ya feel it now...I really wanna know
Can ya feel it now...I really got to know
This time, now it's time for you to go
cny way we go will be...such a far cry from home
cs the storylines keep changin'.....you wrote me off I'm alone
This madness.....It's smashin'
c broken glass, this love lost somewhere in the past
You cut like.....c dull knife
I'm sidelined, feels like your crossin' all the lines
Can ya feel it now...Can ya feel it now...Can ya feel it now...
The lyrics of S.O.U.L's song "Can You Feel It" are about the experience of being deeply immersed in music and the feeling of being taken to a higher level of emotion because of it. The singer talks about going deeper underground to experience the music and feeling the love that is in the air because of it. The chorus repeats the question "Can you feel it?" emphasizing the intense emotional experience that music can provide. The lyrics also mention the desire to "take it everywhere" and "turn it up," indicating the joy of sharing this experience with others.
The repeated use of the phrase "take me back, push it on, get it in, turn it up" creates a sense of urgency and excitement in the listener. It feels like a call to action to fully embrace the music and allow it to take over. The use of the word "luv" instead of love adds a playful, youthful energy to the song. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the idea that this experience is something that everyone can share in and enjoy together.

Music that says, "Stop here"...no place else to go! The talent during this era is unequaled.Commercial success didn't matter as much, the 80's destroyed this pure groove.

An amazing tour de force of blues, rock, soul, r & b and jam band jazz. The sax kills. The whole thing is tight and groundbreaking.

Most valuable musician in this band: The bass player.....Just now discovered this obscure band. Really good musical diversity here...One thing I'm puzzled by is that after the cover of Stevie Wonder's "My Cherie Amour" this suddenly and obviously switches over to a vinyl transfer while the first half of the album obviously comes from a really good master tape with exceptional fidelity. Doesn't hamper my enjoyment. Actually, the second half of the album has my favorite material on this album. Just with that half, too, came from a good master tape.
