Pretty much every joke in the movie came from Murphy. When they cast him instead of Stallone, the screenwriters were at a loss trying to figure out how to use him, so he was constantly asked to "come up with something" because the script just wasn't a comedy. All the crazy bits came from Eddie. :D

@chj2 I stuck pretty close to the script and the buffet wasn't quite as grande. I had to go meet a friend there but he'd neglected to mention the presence of a maitre d. So, dressed in old jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers, I had to react fast before he could. It worked like a charm!
