This is really a good video. I've had genital herpes since 1981. At first I felt like a pariah and didn't date for several years, but eventually I got back out there. I ALWAYS tell the men I'm with before we become intimate, usually on the second date. I take antiviral medication and we use condoms when I'm not having an outbreak. Well I just told my dad my sex partner tested positive for chlamydia and he took it quite well he quickly set up an appointment to get a test i was so stressed to tell him cuz I thought he would be pissed but nah he was proud I told him he said I was mature and smart on telling him to get a test to be on the safe side :)

Btw I’m under 18 so I couldn’t get a test by myself

Actually, you can get a test by yourself. If you go to planned parenthood, they will literally give you a free test. That's how it works. They give free tests to people under the age of 18.

I’m embarrassed to say this and I hope I don’t get any mean comments . I have an std . The person I with didn’t tell me till after words . When I told my ex of 6 years that I have one he made me feel unwanted and horriable about myself . So much so that I’ve felt I was never allowed to be with anyone ever again . What I have I’m afraid that no man will ever want to be me intimately. I’m seening this new guy and he’s so sweet , respectful and kind . I want to keep seeming him we haven’t had sex yet because I want to take it slow but I’m deathly afraid he will look at me like I’m this illness walking around . He makes me so happy I don’t want to loose that. Part of me feels like I should end it right now because i don’t want to hurt again . This coming Monday will only be our second date .
