In 2017, the title track of mini album, Knights of the Sun, "O Sole Mio" skyrocketed their popularity. In 2020, SF9 released the album First Collection which performed well on the charts and helped them get their first win.
In 2021, SF9 participated in MNET's show KINGDOM, which helped them a lot with their popularity for their charming personalities and breathtaking performances.

My heart hurts, I missed the fan meeting cause it’s a busy month for me, but if I’d known it would be their last as OT9 for a long time I would of managed it somehow 🥺

SF9 are the perfect example of someone who never gave up on their dreams until they made them true.
They came from a company that gave kpop the best and most popular bands to ever be. They were the first boy group of the company to not be a band and the juniors of AOA so everyone had their eyes on them.Not everything went as they wanted and their fans were so little. But SF9 never gave up. Multiple comebacks in a year,acting career,OSTs and everything else that needed to be done.
Look at them in this 2020. Multiple music show wins,many album sales and people finally starting to acknowledge a group named SF9.
