The reason why so many people spend so much time playing them is because it’s the way they can entertain themselves with others around them or around the world. It’s a way they can connect with others and you can look at it like how children a few decades ago would always want to go outside to play with their friends. For some, playing video games is just like that, except that it’s online and sometimes with people you’ll never actually meet in person.

I disagree to a degree. Children today suffer from higher depression and suicide than previous generations and it has been proven that children have less meaningful close relationship/friendships then they did in the past. The reason for this is you can't form close meaningful relationships strictly through social media/ technology. This makes kids feel lonely and therefore depressed.

I completely disagree I believe it’s lazy parenting to tell someone to just except and let your children sit in front of a game or a computer screen as much as they want no way not me I will take the hardship and work it’s going to take to get my kids outside I will tell my children put down the phone I will tell my children let’s go outside and play and I will notice that once they are outside playing they will be completely fine with it and won’t even think about the games I do not agree with anything this guy said at all

I completely agree that we should encourage children today to be more connected to the natural world. However, we cannot deny the rise of the digital age. What I think this video was trying to say is that instead of being technophobic, and avoiding technology, we should be teaching children the safe way of using such technology. If we can harness the power of technology and use it so that it helps the progression of our society in a safe way, then that would be the ideal way of moving forward.

We just need to find a balance between both the natural world and the every growing digital world.
