Since their debut, SHINee has won numerous awards. The group has starred in various shows as guests as well as in their own reality shows like Mnet’s “Shinee’s YunHaNam” and KBS’s “Hello Baby.” SHINee are considered to be fashion icons, having started the "SHINee Trend," which is popular amongst the younger generation.
SHINee have featured in tours of SM Town as well as in their own concert, The SHINee World.
In June 2011, they made their Japanese debut with EMI Music Japan.
To date, they have released eight Korean studio albums, The SHINee World (2008), LUCIFER (2010), the two-part Dream Girl: The Misconceptions of You/Why So Serious?: The Misconceptions of Me (2013), Odd (2015), 1 of 1 (2016) , The Story of Light (2018), Don't Call Me (2021) and their most recent album, HARD (2023).
SHINee has also released five Korean mini-albums: Replay (2008), ROMEO (2009), 2009, Year of Us (2009), Sherlock (2012), Everybody (2013) .

Classic R&B ballad era... I'm so glad shinee was around during the time where this sound was still very popular, the ballads and tap snap songs, the golden ages for OSTs.. I always come back to these tracks and find myself not even remembering this era well, because I joined the fandom around 2011. They were getting out of this style, and the kpop scene was changing. But these songs are still so timeless, even though they feel like they were forever ago, almost like a different artist, it still feels so familiar and at home. I dont know how to describe it. But everytime I go back to listen to my favorite pre-sherlock tracks, I feel so at home and warm. Even though I wasn't a shawol when they were released, it makes me feel like I knew them from the very beginning. This track specifically is so powerful and beautiful. You cant help but be emotional when listening. I'm missing jonghyun, and feeling down, and this brings tears, but also a warm feeling of nostalgia and comfort that's unexplainable. Shinee will always be unique. Our 5 stars will shine forever, timeless and setting the stage for others always. Singing to us peacefully when we need to be cheered up. 🌹❤💎
