La La La
SING LIKE TALKING Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Oh my prayer for the ground
Oh my prayer for the ground

Oh my prayer for the sky
Oh my prayer for the sky
La La La
Oh my prayer for the ground
Oh my prayer for the ground

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of SING LIKE TALKING's song "La La La" convey a message of wanting to connect with nature and each other amidst the chaos of the world. The opening verse talks about feeling the sorrow of the green horizon as it is destroyed, and suggests taking the time to strip away the layers we put on ourselves to feel it more fully. The chorus then shifts to a prayer for the ground and the sky, asking people to stop fighting and come together to appreciate the beauty of nature. The song urges listeners to express themselves boldly and make a difference in the world, because there is still time to make a change.

The second verse continues this theme of coming together, stating that it is important to face the realities of the world and recognize that we are all in this together. The use of the phrase "kageshi" (かげり), which means "the dark spots" or "the shade," emphasizes that there are darker aspects of society that need to be addressed. However, the verse also suggests that we can rise above these issues and create a better future. The bridge then takes a more personal tone, acknowledging that it can be easy to feel powerless and disconnected from the world. Nevertheless, it encourages listeners to find hope in music and continue to pursue their own dreams, as they may inspire others to do the same.

Overall, "La La La" advocates for a more compassionate and connected perspective, one that is focused on finding beauty and meaning amidst the difficult moments of life. It suggests that by coming together and expressing ourselves authentically, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and the world around us.

@user-on3kb2vy6y
