Fight For Life
SOiL Lyrics

Without a sound I scream in silence, I stop all breathing
You fight for it and you live for it, then it lets you down
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
Chewing me up engulfed in madness, searching again
You fight for it and you live for it, then it lets you down
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
You fight for life, then it's through with you
You fight for life, then it's through with you
You fight for life, then it's through with you
Holding me back, I keep on fight, for what reason
Torturing me, what is the purpose? my time has ended
You fight for it and you live for it, then it lets you down
You fight for it and you live for it, then it lets you down
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
Fight for life and it's all I see
Fight for life until it's through with me
The lyrics of "Fight For Life" by SOiL express the struggle of someone who is trying to hold onto their life, but feels like they are being dragged down and suffocated. The first stanza describes the feeling of being overwhelmed and unable to express oneself in a way that is heard. The lines "You fight for it and you live for it, then it lets you down" illustrates a sense of disappointment or betrayal in life, and the person's struggle to keep fighting on.
In the second stanza, the person is still searching for meaning in their life but cannot find it. They are overwhelmed by their struggles and feel like they are being consumed by madness. The lines "You fight for life, then it's through with you" highlight the idea that life is a constant battle, and no matter how hard we try, it ultimately comes to an end.
The third and final stanza expresses the person's frustration with their struggles and their failure to find a reason to continue fighting. Despite their efforts, they feel like they are being held back and tortured, and the purpose of their torment remains unclear. The repetition of the lines "You fight for it and you live for it, then it lets you down" underscores the idea that life is full of disappointment, but we still have to keep fighting for it.
Overall, the lyrics of "Fight For Life" express the idea that life is a constant battle that can be both uplifting and disappointing, and we have to keep fighting for it despite the struggles that come with it.
