Like It Is

No one cares what you think
No one cares about anyone out there
And nobody's listening
You better say it like it is
You better say it like it is
Say it like it is
Say it like it is
You better say it like it is
Say it like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
There's no expectation
There's no more relief, yeah
I've given in to my hope and I'm feeling
The life is drained out me
You better say it like it is
You better say it like it is
Say it like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
Say it like it is
You better say it like it is
Say it like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
You have underestimated me
I'll tell you what the hell I think
There's no more hope, no more dream
No truth to anything
May I have your attention, please
I'll tell what I think
There's no more hope, no more dream
No truth to anything
Say it like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
Say it like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
Say it, like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
You have underestimated me
I'll tell you what the fuck I think
There's no more hope, no more dream
No truth to anything
Say it, like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
Say it like it is
Motherfucker, say it like it is
The lyrics to SOiL's song "Like It Is" convey a sense of frustration and disillusionment with the world. The repeated phrase "no one cares" highlights the singer's sense of isolation and the feeling that his opinions and ideas are not valued by others. The lines "There's no expectation / There's no more relief" suggest a sense of resignation - the singer has given up hope that things will ever change or improve.
The chorus, with its repeated exhortation to "say it like it is," seems to be a call to action, urging the listener not to hold back or sugarcoat their thoughts and feelings. The use of the profanity "motherfucker" underscores the sense of urgency and aggression in the message.
Overall, the lyrics of "Like It Is" convey a sense of frustration and disillusionment with the world, but also a call to action to speak truthfully and honestly.
