Under the nickname Spraggy, which follows him since his teenage years and becomes his pseudonym, Nevinson released his first album "BLESSINGS FROM ABOVE" (Kufe Records) followed soon afterwards by "BAD BOYS" He was working with the best Reggae, Jazz & Blues musicians of Dominica which confirmed his status as a gifted Reggae singer. Word spread of his talent, which led him to move to Paris in 2000 until 2008 where he settled in Bordeaux France until present day.
In 2005 Spraggy recorded the "RUB A DUB" single (Sowan Records, Naive) as part of a compilation project "REGGAE X-CLUSIVE” and performed at the ELYSEE MONTMARTRE (Paris), celebrating the release of his new single, for the Reggae X-Clusive concert. He also performed a duet with french top reggae singer Pierpoljak on the song,"HOT & SEXY".
In 2010, Spraggy released his first French Roots Reggae Album "SUNSHINE COUNTRY" (2009 Believe Digital, Auto Production). In 2011 he composed with FELDUB (Producer, DJ, & co-founder of the Bordeaux Label Banzai Lab). Their Opus was titled "FELDUB MEETS SPRAGGY-A SO IT GO" (Banzai Lab, Believe Digital). In 2012 & 2014 after Spraggy had recorded with Dubveda, for LaboxProd, it evolved an obvious artistic collaboration with Nagual X, where he featured on Albums "Illegal Dubplates" &" Green Warriors"(Laboxprod, Auto Production).
After having toured a few years in Europe and played on events like Solidays Festival, Live Planet Bob Marley Tribute, in Paris, Reggae Sun Ska Festival in south of France, as well as venues less bigger or charity concerts…Spraggy has been kept busy writing lyrics for his catalogue of new songs that he has now finished registering, and that are currently being mixed and mastered, ready to be released.
This “special 2020” year has given Spraggy the opportunity to release 4 singles.
