She was known for her role in the Disney series "Girl Meets World", as Maya Hart. Sabrina was initially hired by Hollywood Records and became popular for her single "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying". In 2015, Sabrina released her debut album, entitled “Eyes Wide Open”, releasing the tracks “We'll Be The Stars” and the title track as a single. In 2016, she released the singles "Smoke and Fire" and "On Porpuse", the latter being released as the first single from her second album, "EVOLution". In 2017, she started a tour in the United States to promote the album and released a new song called "Why" which was certified as Gold by the RIAA. In 2018 she released "Alien", with Jonas Blue, and later released "Almost Love", the first single from her third album entitled "Singular Act I", released in 2018. In 2019 came the release of the fourth album, entitled "Singular Act II ", being also considered a continuation of the previous one.
In January 2021, Carpenter released the song "Skin", her first release with the new label, Island Records. The song also marks her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. In September 2021, "Skinny Dipping" was released and in February 2022, Carpenter released "Fast times" . She released her 5th studio album “emails i can’t send“ in 2022, followed by the deluxe “emails i can’t send fwd:” released on March 17, 2023, with four new bonus tracks. Later that same year, she released her second (and first Christmas) EP on November 17, containing five new tracks and the christmas remix of the track "nonsense" from her album “emails i can’t send“, the remix was originally released as a christmas single almost a year earlier on November 7, December 2022.
