Formerly of Petroleum By-Product in which her role as a musician and singer, video & cover designer was pivotal.
Her first track ‘Immaculate Deception‘ was released at the end of September 2011 and received worldwide enthusiasm and recognition. Her inspiration for this project was to couple both, the abstract with the linear, to take abstract sounds and atmospheric noise and draw them into a linear pop song.
Seductive shadow movements, harlot red lipstick, VHS vanity, sharp eye liner and a wardrobe to die for. Her vivacious performance and dark sexuality immediately summons a spirit similar to Annie Lennox of Eurythmics fame. But in her unique way she personifies the idea that a synth vixen knows no era.

Emptiness
Sally Dige Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Do you find it can be soothing
To be lost in your desires
Kill the thoughts for just an hour
Fear pounding hard in my head
This heart clenching up in my chest
It's so hard to ever forget
I didn't mean to hold back
The warmth I never showed
I didn't mean to tell you
You're better off alone
Pour me another glass
Of your finest bottle of shame
Drown me in all the cheap thrills
This world has to give
Do you find it can be calming
Do you find it can be soothing
To be lost in your desires
Kill the thoughts for just an hour
Emptiness, Emptiness, Emptiness...
Do you find it can be calming
Do you find it can be soothing
To be lost in your desires
Kill the thoughts for just an hour
Emptiness, Emptiness, Emptiness...
Take me
Will you take me away?...
The lyrics in Sally Dige's "Emptiness" reflect the singer's inner turmoil and struggle with her emotions. The opening stanza speaks of finding solace in losing oneself in one's desires, where one can momentarily escape from the rigors of reality. However, the following lines reveal the burden she carries in her heart - a fear that pounds hard in her head, making it difficult for her to forget a significant moment in her life. The lines "I didn't mean to hold back, the warmth I never showed" suggest remorse for not expressing her affection to someone she cares about. The following verses go on to reveal how her heart is in torment, as she drinks to drown her sorrows and escape from her emotional struggles. The repetition of the word "emptiness" in the chorus reflects how her emotional state leaves her feeling empty and unfulfilled.
The final plea of "take me away" reveals her desire to escape from her struggles, to find comfort and peace. The song highlights how the human journey can be difficult, with emotions sometimes overwhelming, and how we sometimes seek refuge in escapist behaviours. Sally Dige's voice and the stripped-down music create a haunting and introspective atmosphere that captures the emotional state of the song's lyrics perfectly.

That is some of the most effective allegory about sexual obsession i've encountered. I like who synths parts make it seem horror'ish, while you get harsh message about treating (in this case Sally's character as a stand out example) woman as just an object of utilizing one hour goal by metaphorically dissolving in it.
