Durante o tempo que viveu nos Estados Unidos e em Barcelona, Salvador Sobral desenvolveu vários projectos musicais: compôs para si mesmo mas ao mesmo tempo criou performances arrojadas à volta da figura de Chet Baker, autênticas viagens pela bossa-nova, ou até mesmo pelas doces sonoridades da américa latina.
Ainda em Barcelona, no início de 2014, deu voz à banda de pop-indie “Noko Woi”, cujo álbum de estreia mereceu o convite para um dos palcos da edição de 2014 do Festival Sónar de Barcelona.
Durante o período de gravações, Salvador Sobral acedeu ao desafio para integrar um dos palcos da edição de 2015 do Vodafone Mexefest e, ainda sem o disco editado, acolheu generosas críticas por parte do público e da imprensa.
O disco chama-se “Excuse me”, que é também o nome do single de apresentação já disponível e teve a co-produção musical do pianista Júlio Resende, do talentoso compositor venezuelano Leonardo Aldrey e do próprio Salvador Sobral.

Eri Grace you should check the whole album.. I really like the song Something Real (probably my favourite), it tells the story of his musical career I guess. More like the story of how he find his voice actually
