Come Through
Samantha James Lyrics

As you left that day, I felt so torn
Falling down into a hiding place I've found
I was trying to reach a higher sound
Across the black and blue, shined a silver star
Leading me to you and where you are
I've been searching for so long to feel your touch
And I won't walk away from your truth
So when the time arrives, you can come through
Your silence tells me all I need to know
And in the dark of night I see your glow
Your magic moves me when I need to grow
Walking me into a peaceful flow
Now the golden light I see surrounding me
Nourish the barrows when you came to me
I won't walk away from your love
I've been searching for so long to feel your touch
And I won't walk away from your truth
So when the time arrives, you can come through
(You can come through)
(You can come through)
In the song Come Through by Samantha James, the lyrics describe the feeling of being caught in the middle of a difficult situation. The opening line "Caught like a rose between two thorns" illustrates this feeling perfectly. The singer is torn between two opposing forces, just like a rose caught between two thorns. The next line, "As you left that day, I felt so torn" suggests that this situation involves another person - someone who has left and caused the singer pain. In response, the singer has retreated to a hiding place where she can be alone with her thoughts.
However, even in her darkest moments, the singer is searching for a way to make a connection. She talks about "trying to reach a higher sound" and being led by a "silver star." This imagery suggests that the singer is seeking something beyond her mundane existence, perhaps spiritual enlightenment or a deeper connection with the world. She sees this connection as being embodied by the person who left her - when the time is right, he can "come through" and bring her back to a place of peace and love.
The overall message of the song is one of hope and resilience. The singer is hurting and confused, but she refuses to give up on love. She believes that, with time, she and her loved one can find a way back to each other.
