Hagar, now a sort of modern-day Jimmy Buffett, has earned his place in rock n roll history as one of hard rock's premier front men who not only has an ample, strong, belting vocal range with soulful melody and tone, but his duality as a formidable lead guitarist and guitar-riff-monger puts him in a league shared with few others in terms of versatility and overall right to rock.
He now tours with Mike Anthony, former bassist for Van Halen.
He resides with his family in Mill Valley, CA.
Hagar is currently in a band called "Chickenfoot" with Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer Chad Smith and guitarist Joe Satriani. Their self titled debut album was released to critical acclaim
Sammy Hagar is also known as the Red Rocker, due to the fact he almost always wears red shirts or plays a red guitar, or more likely that he has red hair?
Seems that Chickenfoot is on a hiatus as Joe Satriani has gone back to solo and CF has yet to follow up with a new LP.

I want a whole lotta love

Whole of lotta love, love, love
Hey hey child when you shake that thing

Hey hey child when you walk that way
Watch your honey drip, can't keep away

Love
The lyrics of the song "Whole Lotta Zep" by Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas is a tribute to the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin. The song is a cover of Led Zeppelin's classic "Whole Lotta Love." The lyrics refer to the way that the subject of the song moves and the effect it has on the singer. The lines "Mama said the way you move/ Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove" describe the sexual energy of the person being addressed. The singer expresses that they want a "whole lotta love" from this person, emphasizing the intensity of their desire. The lyrics also include the line "I don't know, but I've been told/ A big-legged woman ain't got no soul," which is a reference to an old army cadence.
The song expresses the raw, sensual energy that is associated with Led Zeppelin's music. The lyrics emphasize the physicality of love and the way that it can make people move and feel. The song is a tribute to Led Zeppelin's influence on rock music and their mythic status as a band. The lyrics also reflect Sammy Hagar's own admiration for the band and his desire to pay homage to their legacy.

As much as I love both Led Zep and Sammy Hagar, I like Zep's songs that Hagar covered better than this, but this ain't a bad jam at all. :) He should consider doing a Zep tribute album.
