Beautiful. I love the balance of the crazy rhythms with the beautiful harmonies.

Denny Smith

One of the humblest, but most competent and deliberative, interpretations of #3 I’ve heard. What a treat.

I have to agree with you. He really captures all the emotional possibilities in this performance. Rhythmically sound, great use of rubato, clarity, point of view, and drive. Wonderful.

Annoyed Bykes

Hard to know what to say about this. A simple melody and strange rhythms push and pull at the insides of you. And disrupt breathing and force salty water into the eyes. What weird and wonderful things happen when beautiful music crosses our paths!

kinpopdj

you know what, I really don't care if the rhythm is played perfectly because this is beautiful.

Richard Braun

Samuel Barber is unsurpassed.

This is THE BEST of ALL THE PERFORMANCES of the 3rd mvt. on YouTube. Daniel Pollack ROCKS!!

Matt Sullivan

What an incredible composition!

Gabriel Soileau

This and the first are my favorite of the excursions!

Brittany Roberts

Working on this for an undergrad recital. Freakin' hard.
