I'm gonna be somebody
I'm gonna be a real gone cat
Then I won't want you
Everything's going to roll my way
I won't need nobody
I'm gonna be a real gone cat
You will cry, cry, cry
You will sigh, sigh, sigh
You will wonder why I don't look at you
When I go rolling by
I'm gonna be a wheel someday
I'm gonna be somebody
I'm gonna be a real gone cat
Then I won't want you
I'm gonna be a wheel someday
I'm gonna be somebody
I'm gonna be a real gone cat
Then I won't want you
Everything's going to roll my way
I won't need nobody
I'm gonna be a real gone cat
Then I won't want you
You will cry, cry, cry
You will sigh, sigh, sigh
You will wonder why I don't look at you
When I go rolling by
I'm gonna be a wheel someday
I'm gonna be somebody
I'm gonna be a real gone cat
"I'm Gonna Be A Wheel Someday" is a classic rock and roll song that exudes confidence and ambition. The singer in the song is confident that he will be successful someday and leave behind those who doubted him. He says, "I'm gonna be a wheel someday, I'm gonna be somebody." Here, the wheel he is talking about is not literal, but a metaphor for someone who is successful and influential. The phrase "real gone cat" is another way to say someone who is cool, confident, and popular.
The lyrics also suggest that the singer has been held back by someone who is not supportive of his dreams or ambitions. He says, "Then I won't want you...You will cry, cry, cry. You will sigh, sigh, sigh. You will wonder why I don't look at you when I go rolling by." This can be interpreted as a message to someone who did not believe in him, that he will not need them once he becomes successful. He is warning them that they may regret not supporting him when they see him thriving in the future.
Overall, "I'm Gonna Be A Wheel Someday" is a dynamic song about self-belief and overcoming obstacles. It reminds listeners to stay true to themselves and not let anyone hold them back from achieving their goals.
