Instead of dreaming
I Sleepwalk
Cause I lost you
And now what am I to do
What to do.
Can't believe that we're through
I don't care how much you tell me

Sleeptalk
Cause I miss you
While the memory of you
Lingers like a song
Darling, I was so wrong
But I'll be right some day

The night fills my lonely place
I see your face
I know, I miss you so
I still love you
And it drives me insane

Sleepwalk
Every night I just Sleepwalk
And when you walk inside the door
I will Sleepwalk no more

Sleepwalk
Every night I just Sleepwalk
And when you walk inside the door
I will Sleepwalk no more

I will Sleepwalk no more

I will Sleepwalk no more

Its written by two brothers, Johnny and Santo, they wrote lyrics to the song but never recorded them. Its a bout Santos love for a girl who was killed in boating accident at a tender age, he dreamt of this girl after her death only to wake up and losing her from his dream when waking. He told his brother about this and his brother watched him as he sleep for 1 whole month, in this month he "santo" would be sleeping and between the hours of 2 am and 3 am sleep walk to the back side door and wait for 3 mins and then go back to bed lay down then wake and have no idea he had just slept walked to the door. This was the door he's girl would sneak in and lay with him up until his death. The reason they did not record the lyrics was because Santo wanted only her ears to hear them from his voice, you can read the lyrics but he says he will sing them to her when he meets her at the door again. The music is the music that he says evokes the spirit of the death in us.

We used to slow dance to this song when I was in 9th grade and now I'm 73, 74, 75 and counting. 05.02.2021. 76 today, 04.14.2022. I'm still here my friends. It is now 4.19.2023 and I just turned 77. I'm hangin' on.

Talk about nostalgia

Congratulations on making it so far to 73. We need more elders in the teaching of us younger generations.

@@wolfrickelly5148 Well, it wasn't for lack of partying. I did my share of it and I had a praying mom. I think that helped.

@@mrknotthall Good moms are hard to come by... And Dads as a matter of a fact. Hopefully that wisdom you gained over the years can be passed down. Have a blessed day.

Junior high dance, November 1969, a lovely girl asked me to dance with her as this song commenced. To this day I don't know how I kept my composure when every part of me was vibrating like a tuning fork. I remember the smell of her Heaven Scent perfume, the light creating fine shadows on her perfect complexion and the streamers hung in the cafeteria for the occasion swaying gently as we danced. I got picked up from the dance by my father and the scene from To Kill a Mockingbird with Gregory Peck where Atticus Finch shoots a rabid dog was showing on The Saturday Night Movie when we arrived home; it must have been 10 PM or so.

Just a cut to black after I put something in the microwave. Who is the director and executive producer?
