Can I Believe
Sarah Lyrics

Hoping a reason will be clear to me
And though I try, I canβt comprehend
The loving words of my friends
Cause I canβt believe thereβs any kind of plan
Where somebody already sees
And I donβt believe in anybodyβs God
Now what am I supposed to do
With this empty place that once was you
I want to scream, I want you to call
Thereβs no comfort in a photograph at all
And I canβt believe thereβs any kind of plan
Where somebody already sees
And I donβt believe in anybodyβs God
That could take you away from me
All I know is I canβt breathe
All I see is disbelief
All I feel, All I feel
All I feel is grief
And I donβt believe in any kind of plan
Where somebody already sees
And I canβt believe that anybodyβs God
Would take you from me
The lyrics of Sarah Geronimo's song "I Still Believe in Loving You" convey a message of unconditional love that endures even in the face of heartbreak and pain. It talks about a relationship that has gone sour and how the singer is trying to come to terms with the fact that the love she thought would last forever is now coming to an end. The line "Just when I thought our love was here to stay, just when I thought you'll never ever go away" highlights the shock of the breakup and the feeling of disbelief that the love which seemed so strong and secure is now in jeopardy.
The singer acknowledges that she doesn't completely understand why her partner is leaving, but even in the midst of confusion and sadness, she vows not to make it hard for him. She resolves to let him go and wishes him well. The line "Before you leave, there's just one thing that I want you to know" shows how she wants to express her feelings before her partner leaves. The chorus "I still believe in loving you, in spite of all the hurts that I'm going through. Even if again and again you'd break my heart, one thing would never change, I still believe in loving you" reiterates that despite the pain and heartbreak, the singer still believes in love and wants her partner to know that she will always love him, even if he breaks her heart again.
To sum up, the song reflects the powerful emotions that are present in a relationship that is coming to an end. The lyrics convey both the sadness and the resilience of the human heart confronting a breakup. Despite the pain, the singer believes that love can survive, and she expresses her deep feelings of love despite the inevitable goodbye.

Just when I thought our love was here to stay
I believed that our love was permanent and secure
Just when I thought you'll never ever go away
I believed that you would always be by my side
You said it's time for you to go
You have decided that it is time to leave
But I'm not sure I really know
I am confused and uncertain about why you are leaving
Why you are leaving
I want to understand the reasons for your departure
And when we finally say our last goodbye
When we part ways for the final time
I'll never make it hard for you
I will not make the separation difficult for you
You won't even see me cry
I will not show my tears to you
And though there's tears inside of me
Even though I am hurting and sad
I'm gonna let your heart go free
I will allow you to follow your heart and make your own choices
Before you leave
Prior to your departure
There's just one thing
There is something important that I need to say
That I want you to know
I want to communicate this message to you
I still believe in loving you
I continue to hold onto my feelings of love for you
In spite of all the hurts
Despite the pain and anguish that I am experiencing
That I'm going through
That I am currently enduring
Even if again and again you'd break my heart
Even if you were to repeatedly shatter my heart and cause me pain
One thing would never change
My belief in love for you would remain constant
I still believe in loving you
My love for you remains steadfast and unwavering

Iβm a fan of Sarah, but she needs to avoid these kind of songs that requires very deep sound breaths and high notes. She had a difficulty getting the tremendous tunes. I even thought she would faint on this same song but in another Kapamilya event show, she looks like she was out of breath I thought she would faint. Glad to see she delivered and went through. What a thrilling performance. Nice job.
