She started singing early, appearing in musicals and joined a musical band when she was 12. She plays guitar, piano, bass and drums and also loves to draw and paint. She is out and openly lesbian.

Fracture
Sarah Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And call it poetry
Another fucked up man
Trying to escape reality
An actor, a writer, a lover
In love with no one
Now I don't think you know I'm hurting
I knew I loved you from the start
You are the fracture
You are the fracture
You are the fracture in my broken heart
You've painted many pictures
Of a road that went nowhere
I can tell she was beautiful
You are everything you pretend to be
An actor, a liar, a lover
Who's not in love with me
Now I don't think you know I'm hurting
Worse than it shows
I knew I loved you from the start
You are the fracture
You are the fracture
You are the fracture in my broken heart
You are everything you pretend to be
The person I've grown to hate
The one who loves the rain
The one who's never wept
I wish we never met
You are everything you pretend to be
An actor, a liar, a lover
The man who touched me
The man who taught me how to cry
In the first verse of this song, Sarah describes a person who considers themselves a poet and artist, but in reality is just a messed up individual trying to escape from the harsh realities of life. They try to portray themselves as someone who is capable of love, but deep down they are empty and incapable of truly loving anyone.
Moving on to the chorus, Sarah expresses her own pain that goes unnoticed by this person. She confesses that she loved them from the beginning, but they have become the fracture in her broken heart. This person has caused her heart to break and has left a lasting impact on her emotional well-being.
In the second verse, Sarah talks about how this person has created numerous illusions of a life that leads nowhere. She can see that they were captivated by the beauty of someone else, perhaps a past lover. This person embodies everything they pretend to be – an actor, a liar, a lover – but in reality, they are not in love with Sarah. This realization hurts her deeply.
In the last verse, Sarah emphasizes how this person is everything they pretend to be, but she has come to despise them. They claim to love the rain and have never shed a tear, but Sarah wishes she had never met them. They have become an actor, a liar, and a lover who touched her, and taught her how to feel and experience pain.
Overall, "Fracture" is a deeply personal song about a relationship that has left Sarah emotionally shattered. The lyrics capture the pain of loving someone who only pretends to feel the same way, and the regret of allowing oneself to be vulnerable to their manipulation.
