The Way SHE Does
Sarah Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Her mind was pure but her journey was not
She had a beauty the kind that time forgot
She lost, she lost
She lost her way
She dared to dream and left her home
Where she's going, she didn't even know
She lost, she lost
She lost her way
Trying to find who she wants be
Always there but never seen
A touch of brown, a shade of red, a hint of green
Underneath the deep blue skies
She's everything in your eyes
She reflected love and light
In every shade
She lost
She lost her way
She tried to find a place to land
Doesn't expect us to understand
She lost, she lost
She lost her way
The moonlight covers her world below
Her heart's in darkness, but it begins to glow
She lost, she lost
She lost her way
Trying to find who she wants be
Always there but never seen
A touch of brown, a shade of red, a hint of green
Underneath the deep blue skies
She's everything in your eyes
She reflected love and light
In every shade
She lost, she lost
She lost her way

She lost her
She lost her way

The book this movie is based on was excellent. It described how hard it is to have work-life balance for career women in very realistic terms, and was far from cutesy. I have high hopes for this movie based on the original material.

I really respect Sarah Jessica Parker since she's apparently been able through her roles to strike a chord with the female audience. That means that I respect her audience, so that must be some talent there that I, as a male (you fill up as many adjectives as you want - feel free to do it) simply cannot grasp. Sometimes my wife forces me (you know they have that power) to watch one of her films - it makes my wife happy and if she's happy then I'm happy too. Then back to action movies.
