Very Last Moment
Sarah Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
It's easy not to notice easy not care
Conversation circles
There's momey changing hands
I've been standing in the middle
I've caught up in the spin
But out of the confusion the static and the noise
You got my attention and made me wanna
Chorus
Live Like it's the last moon rising
Scream just like noones there
Lose all of my defenses
Hold you, touch you, love you like
It's the very last moment in time
It seems like I woke up beneath a different sky
And I'm drunk on what I'm seeing
Through these open eyes
All the little ways you move me
All the places you expose
The illusion I held onto
You've go me letting go
I just wanna stay here
Soaking up the rain
Falling all around me
Wash the world away
Chorus
The opening lyrics of "Very Last Moment" by Sarah talk about the continuous flow of time that never stops for anyone. It can move on without anyone noticing or caring. The second line highlights how humans can easily become immersed in our daily routines and forget to take the time to appreciate what we have. The chorus is all about living fully in the present moment and cherishing every feeling and experience as if it were the last one.
The next verse talks about the transformative power of love, and how it can change our perspective on life. It is as if the singer has suddenly woken up to a different world, where everything is beautiful and worth cherishing. The little things that their lover does move them, and the illusion they held onto vanishes. They are now able to let go of their past and embrace the present.
The song encourages us to embrace the present moment and live fully. It tells us to forget our defenses and hold onto the people we love as if it were the very last moment in time. The song reminds us that life is fleeting, and we should make every moment count.

Hello from Thailand! I listened to this song in 2003 when I was in Belgium. As time gone by, I thought about this song so I had been looking on youtube and many other sources only to foind out it was sung by Lindsey Lohan in 2004. Was I crazy? I'm sure I heard the song in 2003! Now I found this one you posted. The original from Sarah. Great evidence clearing my doubt I had been having for the past 10 years. Thanks for sharing!
